I held on to this book for almost 2 months. It took me that long to get to it and read through.
It was BORING. It happened in one day but felt like an eternity. The ending was a non-event.
As you can guess, I absolutely hated it.

the economist called this an "enjoyable but overly safe... novel". his next one's a bit more of a jump, and i was kind of interested in reading it, though i've never read him before. read the review by the economist (my favoritest magazine ever in the whole wide world!) at http://www.economist.com/books/displaystory.cfm?story_id=E1_RJNNTNQ if you haven't heard yet...
it was definitely NOT ENJOYABLE.
